My Example File

This is an example file created in Runthru Instruction.

Click the Opportunities link to move to the Opportunities window.

Click the New Opportunity link to start the task of creating a new Opportunity.

Select the Customer from the list. In this example we will use Alex Al-Rashid from Apex Solutions.

Select the current stage of this new Opportunity. In this example we will choose Qualification.

The probability will be automatically adjusted based on your choice of Stage. This can be changed if there is a compelling reason to do so. In this example we will increase the probability from 25% to 30% as this is a current customer, with a new requirement.

Now enter a projected invoicing date for this Opportunity.

You can, optionally, enter a description for this potential sale. This is primarily for your own use and it will not appear on management reports.

You must name your Opportunity before progressing. Using the Generate button will create a name that you can edit.

Check the Opportunity Name matches your requirements. You can edit it in this location if desired.

Click the Save Opportunity button to save your work. There are, however, additional steps for you to perform before the task is finished.

For your Opportunity to have a value, you must choose a product or service. Click the Manage Products link to start this work.

Start by selecting your first product from the Product List. In this example we will use Cloud CRM Pro.

Click the Add button to add this Product to the Selected Products list for this Opportunity.

Click the Back to Opportunity link

The Opportunity has now been successfully created. This is the end of the procedure.
